Schedules
Schedules are so important for getting anything done, especially homeschooling. I can tend to be a little lazy sometimes :/ I just started a new system for organizing. I printed out a June 2013 calendar with boxes big enough for me to write. I put tasks that take time i.e.: my work hours, washing my hair, tests, etc. I'm also trying to save money. This is such a hard thing for me :/ I put how much I start the week at and how much I spend throughout the week. I have also started taking my lunch to work :) having little things like this written down has really helped me keep on the track to graduating :D

Hi there! I'm a homeschooling mom of a high schooler. My daughter was in public school up til 9th grade and did 10th grade as a homeschooler then I graduated her using our Umbrella school. She's been taking classes at the Community College and only has 1 yr before she gets her AA degree. She's happy she made the decision. It's funny how we all want different things from what we are experiencing at the time. My daughter loved her school when she went, but when we moved I offered this option to her. She enjoys College and doing High school stuff with her friends. She has her friends to invite her to school dances. Also, she played sports, did a lot of afterschool things with her friends. But she felt she got more out of her time spent at the Community college. Either way, no place is perfect. High School has it's set of problems, but the real fun begins in college :-D
