  1. Hey,

Don't give up on the blog or homeschooling. I'm sixteen, been homeschooled all my life, and I love it. It's worth doing--you can pick your hours, learn more of what you want to know, and be yourself.
If you keep adding to the blog, people will find it. If you're feeling lonely, find people who share your interests. There are forums on the internet for books, movies, music, and people there are eager to welcome others who share their passion. Clubs work too--lots of homeschooling groups are out there, but there are others that aren't just for homeschoolers.
Good luck with the blog--keep adding to it!

  2. Hello, Serena!

I understand where you're coming from. I'm homeschooled too, and about to graduate from online college.

I also write on a blog about life as a homeschooler, a Christian homeschooler to be exact. It's over at www.altogetherseparate.com, and there are lots of posts there from homeschool girls who are struggling to live a life apart from the world. Check it out and let us know what you think!

    Best of luck,
    Abby

  3. Hi Serena,

    Welcome to the Blogging Universe!
I've been blogging since March of this year, but it's hard work really. :D
I'm also homeschooled, so I think it's kind of cool to connect with you.
I keep my own blog at thecatisspeaking.blogspot.com. I'd love for you to check it out and see what you think, maybe leave a comment.
If you're interested, I've published two books that you can find on Amazon.com and Smashwords.com. Just search 'murasaki hideki' on either of those two sites and there you are! I'd love to see you there! And right now on Smashwords.com, if you hurry, my first book is 50% off with this coupon code: RP82Z. The second book is 50% off with this coupon: XA29P
Anyway, I'll stop rambling. Nice to meet you! And yes, don't give up on your blog. I almost did, but then, I put a little grease into and voila! I was surprised at what a little work did for me!
So, take heart! You won't be lonely forever!

  4. Hi Serena,

I'm glad that someone other than me has had the idea for a blog by a teen and for a teen. I haven't started mine yet but I am in the process of doing it right now I just cant come up with a name. I hope you stick with it and don't feel lonely you only just started you can go much farther based off what you know that you need to learn other than off what the teachers tell you to learn. Another upside to home school is No Bullies. I'm 15 and have been home schooled for three years and it has been bliss.

Hope you get back on track,
    Sadie
